Since 2017, Dr. Shara Cohen [FRCPath, FIBMS, FRSB, BEM], as the Founder and CEO of Cancer Care Parcel, has drawn from her personal journey with breast cancer to ensure an empathetic and inclusive approach in supporting individuals grappling with the complexities of the disease. The inception of Cancer Care Parcel stemmed from her own breast cancer diagnosis, rapidly amassing a substantial international following. From its inception, the company has directed its profits towards bolstering the cancer community, undertaking extensive endeavors to furnish valuable articles, facilitate Cancer Charity Fundraising, and lead Cancer Charity Awareness Campaigns. Additionally, they have implemented a program dedicated to distributing complimentary care packages to cancer patients.

In recognition of her steadfast dedication to cancer patients, their families, and the advancement of Women in STEM, Shara was honored with the British Empire Medal in the 2024 New Year's Honours List.
