Every three years, NHS Highland invites all women aged between 50 and 70 for breast screening. Your appointment time will depend on which GP practice you're registered with, which means you may be invited at a different time to other women of your age. You should get your first invitation before your 53rd birthday.
Women over 70 years of age are still welcome to come for screening, but will not automatically be invited. To make an appointment, you can call the Highland Breast Centre.
