Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and tech-savvy volunteer to join our social media team. As a volunteer social media creator, you will be responsible for producing engaging Reels, Stories, and TikTok content to educate and support individuals touched by cancer. Experience in creating story videos is required, and knowledge of TikTok is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Create compelling and informative Reels and Stories for Facebook and Instagram to engage and educate our social media audience.
• Develop content ideas, storyboards, and scripts for each platform.
• Utilize video editing tools to create visually appealing and captivating story videos.
• Stay up to date with current trends and algorithms on TikTok to create relevant and engaging content for our TikTok account.
• Research and gather information on cancer-related topics to ensure accurate and reliable content.
• Collaborate with the social media team to align content with the organization's goals and messaging.
• Monitor comments and engage with the audience by responding to inquiries and providing support.
• Track and analyze the performance of social media content using relevant analytics tools.
• Stay informed about emerging social media trends and best practices.

Requirements:

• Experience in creating story videos for social media platforms.
• Understanding of Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok platforms.
• Familiarity with cancer-related topics OR a willingness to learn.
• Excellent creativity and storytelling abilities.
• Strong organizational skills to manage content creation schedules and deadlines.
