Dr. Shara Cohen, Founder and CEO of Cancer Care Parcel, created the company after being diagnosed with cancer herself. During her journey, she discovered a significant lack of reliable information and practical guidance for both patients and their loved ones. This gap inspired her to build a platform that provides trusted resources, support, and thoughtful gifts to help those affected by cancer navigate their challenges with dignity and care.
Dr. Cohen’s career includes over 20 years in cancer research, with more than 100 peer-reviewed publications. Her entrepreneurial journey began with a life science events company she founded and managed while balancing her responsibilities as a mother. Following her cancer experience, Dr. Cohen shifted her focus to initiatives with direct impacts on people's lives, leading to the creation of Cancer Care Parcel.
Her vision is rooted in empathy, ensuring no one feels unsupported or alone during their cancer journey. Under her leadership, Cancer Care Parcel continues to expand its reach, offering meaningful support to the international cancer community.
