Lloyd has worked in the marketing industry for over 7 years and been involved with most aspects of the industry. Starting out selling marketing campaigns to business of all sizes, from sole-traders all the way up to some of the biggest brands in the UK, he then moved to be more hands on with the development, strategy, and implementation of marketing.
He has been self-employed and specialised on helping small businesses and start-ups to find ways to market their brands using limited budgets and maximising free and low-cost marketing channels. The grand-scale advertising campaigns of large blue-chip corporations has never been the appeal to Lloyd for his passion for marketing. It is about taking the tools and techniques used in such campaigns and educating smaller businesses on how to use them to their benefit.
When the opportunity arose with Preparing4Care it was one that he wanted to take, in order to work with a company that not only fits with his marketing passion, but that offers a service he strongly believes in and feels can help improve care across the industry and across the globe.
He is a keen amateur writer and aiming to digitally self-publish in 2020, this includes a marketing book, designed to help small businesses and start-ups, and a novel as well. Lloyd is married and has a son, aged 1, who he loves and he enjoys reading, movies, music, and sport. He is currently trying to talk his wife out of getting a dog and said he fully expects to have a dog soon!
