Founder and Chair

Dr Shara Cohen

Following her breast cancer diagnosis in 2013, Shara recognised the pressing need for self-care and introspection amid the chaos of medical appointments and emotional strain.

Shara initiated Cancer Care Parcel with the aim of infusing a sense of peace into the lives of those grappling with cancer and its treatments. Leveraging her firsthand understanding of the challenges people encounter during cancer treatment, she leads a dedicated team of volunteers.

In 2024, in recognition of her commitment Cancer Patients and their families, plus her other work Shara received the British Empire Medal in the New Years Honours List.

UK Non-Executive Directors (2026)

Cancer Care Parcel has appointed a fixed-term Non-Executive Advisory Board for the period January 2026 to December 2026 to support a defined phase of strategic transition and repositioning.

The Non-Executive Directors bring senior experience across finance, governance, scaling, operations, regulated care, technology, risk, branding, and programme delivery. Their role is advisory, providing independent challenge, commercial discipline, and strategic guidance as the organisation prepares for its next stage of growth and international licensing.

Graham Lee

Digital Transformation, Automation and Emerging Technology Advisor

Graham Lee brings extensive experience in digital transformation, automation, emerging technologies, and operational technology strategy across complex organisational environments. With a background spanning technology leadership, governance, software delivery, IoT, and large-scale business transformation, he supports organisations in navigating digital change while maintaining operational resilience and stakeholder alignment.

Alongside his technical expertise, Graham is recognised for his strong mentoring and coaching approach, helping teams and leaders adapt to evolving technologies and ways of working. During his term, Graham supports Cancer Care Parcel with digital transformation strategy, technology governance, automation opportunities, operational systems thinking, and innovation-focused scalability as the organisation prepares for long-term growth and international expansion.

Richard Webb

Former Managing Director and Head of Customised Portfolio Solutions EMEA

Richard Webb was a senior financial services executive with deep experience in investment strategy, portfolio solutions, and institutional governance. He brings a rigorous commercial and risk-aware perspective, supporting Cancer Care Parcel with financial oversight, long-term sustainability thinking, and investor-grade decision-making.

Amit Fridman

Founder and Managing Director, FRBM Consultancy Ltd

Amit Fridman brings over 20 years of experience in people management, business consulting, and operational scaling across the QSR, catering, supermarket, bakery, and café sectors. He has a strong track record of supporting start-ups and growing businesses through expansion, franchising, and operational maturity. During his term, Amit supports Cancer Care Parcel with workforce strategy, operational discipline, and scalable people-led growth.

Jay Trondillo

Social Care Operations and Regulatory Governance Leader

Jay Trondillo is an award-winning leader in social care operations with extensive experience leading multi-site and registered care services. As a CQC Nominated Individual, he brings deep expertise in quality assurance, compliance, safeguarding, and regulatory accountability. Jay supports Cancer Care Parcel with governance insight drawn from highly regulated care environments, advising on standards, risk management, and operational integrity as the organisation scales its support model.

Dr Paul M Smith

Councillor, Management and ICT Consultant

Dr Paul M Smith brings extensive experience across governance, public service, information security, risk management, and organisational resilience. His background spans board advisory roles, consultancy, digital assurance, and mental health counselling. During his term, Paul supports Cancer Care Parcel with governance standards, risk oversight, digital assurance, and ethical decision-making.
