Thank you for being an essential part of the Cancer Care Parcel team. Your role in securing product donations is crucial to our mission of supporting those affected by cancer.
When speaking with potential donors, highlight that their contributions directly support the cancer community. By donating products, they enable us to provide more free care packages to those in need. If their products are included in our purchase care packages, it reduces our costs, allowing us to reinvest income into our mission.
We don't just want them to donate products we want to form a relationship with poeple/companies
Inform potential donors of the benefits they receive, including:
We can also include flyers in care packages for a fee.
Ensure potential donors understand our preference for natural, organic products.
We welcome sizes and items not on our list, but only to complement our existing items (existing items need to be full size).
In addition we need the packaging of the item to be good, so that when the gift is open, they perceive premium products.
Coordinate with donors to send samples to our office and bulk donations to our fulfilment company.

If you want to receive a sample yourself, that's fine, but if it's a new product, please have a zoom with me so I can check it out. Not everyone will want to give samples.
Let donors know we require a minimum of 50-100 products per donation (but 500 is standard) due to fulfillment and storage costs. Monetary donations are also appreciated.
You will get a daily email with an update of what we need urgently.

We will always take other items and sample sizes to supplement our gifts, but our priority is what we put in the gift packages.
