Hull &Ā EastĀ RidingĀ Breast FriendsĀ is a registered charity and a member of the Fundraising Standards Board. It is run entirely by volunteers who themselves have been affected by breast cancer.
HER Breast FriendsĀ was founded in November 2005 as a result of the friendship formed between Jan Jones and the late Liz Drury during treatment for breast cancer. They recognized no matter how breast cancer touched your life, there was a will and a need to do something positive with the experience and the idea ofĀ HER Breast FriendsĀ began.
